9 Things Your Parents Taught You About Item Upgrading
Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key element to maximize the power of your gear. It lets you add extra bonus stats over your base level item's value.
Each upgrade template comes with set options that can be configured through the GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the upgrading chance.
Upgrade components
The process for upgrading weapons, armor and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 was redesigned as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components can be found throughout Night City, and the item upgrading that you want to upgrade must have an upgrade slot. When you select an item to upgrade the game will display an image of what the expected statistics will be following upgrading, along with the required component or material required. If you don't have the required component or resource to upgrade an item upgrades, then the button will say "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded as well as some trinkets as well as gathering tools. The upgrade slots on all of these are filled with different upgrades that provide attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is in use. These upgrades are available by crafting, purchased from a merchant or taken from the loot.
There are two kinds of gemstones and universal upgrades. Universal upgrades, which are like gemstones, can be put in any kind of equipment and provide less of a benefit than other types of upgrade components. They are easy to acquire because they are dropped by enemies and looted across the globe. Gems are, however, can be obtained by disassembling items or by completing certain missions.
Upgrades can be replaced by new upgrades in a weapon's upgrade slot, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs which can be inserted in gathering tools, cannot be removed from an item after they are inserted. Infusions can be inserted in legendary and upgraded equipment. Enrichments can only be retrieved using a high-tier salvaging kit or upgrade extractor.
Recycled Items
During the two World Wars, the scarcity of natural resources drove the world to recycle. Recycling items like aluminum, plastic and paper is commonplace. They get a new lease on life. In fact, recycling conserves energy and stops carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. It's also a good way to reduce the need for landfills and preserve natural resources. It is nevertheless important to know what materials can and cannot be recycled.
A common mistake people make is to put the wrong things in the recycling bin. These waste products not only pollute the stream, but they can also cause damage to recycling equipment. To avoid this, read the label and follow the guidelines of your recycling program. For instance cardboard shouldn't be mixed with tin or steel cans, and tissue needs to be put in the trash. Plastic bags also tangle in recycling machines and should be disposed of at a grocery store for reuse. Other items to throw in the garbage include berry containers and food containers. The only exception to this is glass that can be used to build with.
When shopping for new items, it's important to look for the label "Made using recycled materials." This means that the item has been made using recycled materials from other products that have already served their intended purpose. This makes them more eco sustainable than new items made from raw materials. In addition, these materials are much less expensive than new ones.
Whether it's your old tablet, phone or computer, you can reuse these objects by taking them to an recycling center. They'll use the materials to create new electronics and other useful items. You could even earn cash from these companies by donating the old ones.
If you want recycling at work to be easier, make it standardized the colors of the bins and signs at your workplace. This will help reduce confusion and increase participation rates. You should also create the space within your office for recycling, such as an open bin or box located in the breakroom.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll the dice a second time for better stats and cool powers. They can be found in the mystery box or as rare drops from bosses or monsters with skulls. Each token takes one attribute point from damage and then randomly transforms into the new attribute. You can also use the token to roll the extras on an item, like regeneration or speed.
The amount of extras that are added to an item is different with each level. The value of an extra is calculated as a percent of the total stats of the item. Rerolling a token may alter the value. In addition, the recycle value also increases with each upgrade. The value of the item's primary stat increases by +3 every time it is upgraded, however the value of the additional stats will vary.
Click the dice icon beside the item in your inventory to roll it. Alternatively, you can click the button in a different player's lobby and select "Reroll". After rerolling the item, it will be removed from your inventory.
Sagbe is a Token Shop dealer in the game. Redeeming active codes will also allow you to get free rerolls in Fire Force Online. These codes can be exchanged for a variety items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls can be useful in the early stages of the game, as you have to build up your inventory and dungeon gear. They are not the best method of increasing your character's stats. Instead, you should concentrate on gaining more skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing the event levels.
You can also roll the race of your character with a race-reroll token that can be purchased from the Zen Market. This token lets you change your race once, and it can be redeemed through specific packs or through the Token Shop. You can also get it as a reward for completing Meg’s cases during the Port Sarim Invasion event.
Leveling
The statistics of an item as well as its Power Level will rise when you level up an item as part of the upgrade process. However it also increases the cost of upgrades and requires an amount of materials to complete the process. The kind of material needed is dependent on the item. Weapons, for instance, use a combination between Destruction Stones (DS) and Guardian Stones. Armor utilizes Harmony Leapstones and Shards. The addition of additional elements can increase the likelihood of success, but it is not a guaranteed outcome.
The process of leveling is calculated using an algorithm that determines the amount of damage or magic attack (magic weapons) and defense an upgraded item will receive at the next upgrade level. The formulas vary depending on the type of weapon and rarity. There is also a maximum level per kind of weapon.
After the item reaches its highest level, the NPC will display an upgrade option that lets the player infuse the item with experience and upgrade items it to the next level. To maximize the benefits of this process it is important that players ensure that their gear is at its maximum level before upgrading. They will save time and money by not using up materials or time that could have been used for other upgrades.
The NPC will display two lines while the upgrade is underway. The first line shows the amount of Tech Points the upgrade will give, while the second shows a preview of what the item will look like at its upgraded level. The preview might not be accurate if the item has modifications. However, it will give you a rough idea.
The NPC will display the cost to upgrade the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. It will also include the cost of an Accelerator, if you own one. Accelerators can be bought through the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points gained through an upgrade by 50%. However this bonus does not apply to the item's Quality Chance which is resets once the item is at its maximum level.
The Upgrade NPC provides a service for gear transfers. The Upgrade NPC will also offer a gear transfer service. This lets players save their experience and progress on a piece and transfer it to another item upgrader kit that is in the same slot. This is helpful for players who want to change their gear, but don't have enough currency to buy a new set.
