World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will increase an additional 3% of the previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the current level of the item. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into weapons, armor, and trinkets to provide a stat bonus or extra effect when they're used. They can be obtained through making crafts, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades also have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to make stronger versions of the equipment using fewer Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can modify the attack or defense properties of a weapon, or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of an item will be available at the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item upgrading can be costly and it's possible that the item will become obsolete or even break when the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the possibility of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing attaches. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

In the final game, you will often find that the best way to improve your gear is to place Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded to level 15 and give an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced again are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph with the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has the possibility of dropping one of the numerous Glyphs, and there are some rare glyphs that can be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs You will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus which will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Using Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes connected to it, so you should aim to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. For example that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes however, you may also want to consider placing them near critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to boost the stats of specific items by adding upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each item level requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns a number of Technology Points. These points can be used for the upgrading of an item. Once enough points are earned, you will be able to claim your upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When an item upgrader mod is upgraded by a player, the base item is replaced with a new item of the same kind. The same armor will be upgraded to the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This can be a downside since the item may increase in price even if you do not require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do this. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will come with an initial level and a totally different set of bonus bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, however it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it can use up many resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides a buff if the player continuously enters or exits the water. This item can be upgraded many times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is extremely valuable in PvP, as the best version of it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to increase the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the base defense of that piece, while upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage and required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an item level upgrade, it has a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the farther you go beyond the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can result in the item returning to its initial state, which requires the player to spend additional items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item isn't upgraded, the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained, such as the chance to crit, attack damage, or other effects (such as increased heal over time, or the speed of reloading). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item upgrader mod is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in its crit chance it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is computed every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined by its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a typical equipment item could have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. The player will need to take every piece of gear they want to upgrade to NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of the upgrade ingredients in addition to the cost listed above.
