It's therefore prone to getting stuck on shoes and socks and could not navigate through rooms with a lot of people efficiently during our tests. It also doesn't come with a camera to look around corners.
It's still a great option for those who want to save money on a Roomba from iRobot, and you have a mostly bare-floor home or office. It's also quiet and works when you're at work or at school. The only thing it doesn't have that you don't get in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming of floors with no floor. And it's less effective at mopping, relying on disposable wet wipes that don't hold on well and aren't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. And, if you need to, you can switch the mopping pad to a dry one in seconds.
2. IRobot Roomba X30
The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact, sleek vacuum cleaner that can also mop floors.
