5. Item Upgrade Projects For Any Budget
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any money wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item level upgrade of equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment using three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item upgrades to a higher quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard Best item upgrader, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next success result is rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade items button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire them. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade items trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item upgrader Kit at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can place equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Upgrades to items can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
