Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more efficient, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Look for models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty, and clean up stairs.

Many of the best robot cleaner models work with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.

When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty traversing the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.

The S1's docking station automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot vacuums best vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option to meet your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

This robot combination is simple to setup and use, with a simple interface that walks you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a thick distance around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and well-organized. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings and view 3-D and 2D maps. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always get every last bit of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen in this price range even though it's not able to clean your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

The mops also stand out with their 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home this allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also has a larger bin, so you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot is able to detect carpets, and increase suction if needed. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
