However, unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots we tested the i3+ doesn't have a feature for avoiding obstacles and therefore it could be stuck on things like socks or power cords, and may have issues in navigating through transitions between surfaces like from hardwood to rug.

iRobot suggests that you clear areas where the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, including clearing out any toys or clutter it may encounter. We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning sessions, move itself around the room and vacuum the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. When connected, we were able to give the i7+ voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is a sports car in a sea of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans and buses. It has the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum for the majority of households, but it also fits in well next to a coffee table or on a bookshelf that you can spin around like the magic tool.

The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense lithium-ion battery which produces energy that is not faded for 60 minutes.
