10 Healthy Item Upgrade Habits
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment in three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item upgrader mod, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item level upgrade by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item upgrader mod's current status and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. However, there are many ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display an icon of blue in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Also, when an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.
Some items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item upgrade. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of that Best item upgrader, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
