iRobot suggests that you clean up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or clutter it may encounter. It's also recommended to keep the bin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is filled or the battery is low it goes back to its docking station, automatically emptying its debris into the station's dust bin and then resumes cleaning the area where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for about an hour and a half of continuous use, and takes around three hours to recharge.

The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the latest features. It's self-charging, self-navigating, and the most important feature of all -- it has a self-emptying dustbin that eliminates one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba I7+ can better map rooms with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot with voice or through the app.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin that eliminates a major cause of maintenance and cuts down on the cost of maintenance.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines, move itself around the room and sweep a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. We were able, once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world filled with vacuums that are cordless and feel like minivans or buses, this small Dyson model feels like a sports car. It has the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum in many households however, it can also fit nicely on the coffee table or a bookshelf where you can wave it around like the magic device.

The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense lithium-ion battery which produces energy that is not faded for 60 minutes. Its sophisticated whole-machine filtration system removes allergens, and then releases clean air back into your home. Its specialized head uses stiff nylon bristles to penetrate into carpets and collect large particles or fine dust. It comes with three suction settings to match the task that is being completed.
