What You Should Be Focusing On Improving Item Upgrading
World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The Item upgrade (telegra.Ph) lets players boost an item upgrade's gear rating up 700 points, and then add a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like a perfectly broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while others like weapons don't change much post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats such as crit chance, attack damage as well as PvE and damage from PvP. They also have an unchanging bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. Additionally there are many weapons with an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a unit. In some instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon is able to upgrade by itself.
The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity as well as its current level. For example, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons also reroll the stats of the base. While this is generally a good thing but it can also have negative effects as well. Upgrades can make items unusable, unless you are very lucky.
Armor items can be upgraded to improve their stats. For instance, if you have chests or helms this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor also offers an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it can sometimes change its roll to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon displays the new stats that it will get when upgraded and their relative values. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.
A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button with arrows that circle in the menu for items. The item will be rerolled and alter its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.
Armor
A few armor upgrades can make the world of difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE increases in poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. The more defense your character is, the more value you can get from each point of health you possess therefore it is important to improve your armor as often as you can.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains in the game and in order to unlock each one you have to complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed your main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels, and the amount of materials and Rupees required to complete each will vary. It is possible to use anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a large group of enemies in most cold environments, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, providing the protection needed to survive the full-on assault with a handful of friends.
It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to work on upgrading it to gain physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades for armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you wear to fight the final boss as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.
You can also unlock some benefits to your armor by giving the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll generally want to save these upgrades to the weapon you'll be using to win the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. It's nevertheless beneficial to have some upgrades for the chest armor and helmets to allow you to get around a few monsters.
Potions
Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed give the user a temporary status effect. There are five different types of potions, each with specific effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, increasing the effectiveness of their effects. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.
Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades is dependent on the type of potion you want to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level and rarity.
To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI which allows you to choose the potion that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP they earn will be added to your current XP count.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not degrade until you re-use it, or break the bottle it is stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change its name.
There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for instance are now available with a time of zero, not the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item upgrades. The potion table can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron, it drains the potion and refills the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed using splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone can be added to lingering potions to enhance their effects. The table of potion ingredients is now organized more closely to the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as potion of leaping, potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket could be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a reference to an object or ornament that serves a function but isn't particularly significant, such as a trinket. In some cultures a trinket is a way to show affection or friendship between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons and armor, as well as potions. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrade upgrades trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their status.
The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold, or fragments from rare trinkets.
Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying a new one. One can upgrade their trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same level of base as the old trinket but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.
Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they're not needed, allowing a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an attractive alternative to gold.
In general, players should upgrade their most important items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, then their secondary items and finally, other pieces of gear that will not be replaced in the near future (for instance an earring or cloak). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. For example If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks, they should be focusing on upgrading their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and chest.
Once they have become useless trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional bonus of 1. However, a re-upgrade can cause the trinket to be destroyed in the event that it is not salvaged using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an additional salvage tool of higher quality. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, however it is still cheaper than buying an entirely new trinket.
