Category A1 Rules For Motorcyclists

Category a1 rules are for those who wish to drive small motorbikes. These vehicles have a cylinder capacity of up to 35kW. They are not derived from vehicles with more than twice their power.

Open category drone operations are separated into three subcategories: A1 to A3. You can fly drones with the class C0 or C1 as part of the A1 subcategory (fly over people) until January 2024.

kategoria a1 (Suggested Browsing)

Category A1 is one of three drone categories that are subject to the control of EASA. It is available to aircrafts that are up to a maximum takeoff weight (MTOM), which is 25 kilograms. It requires a flight plan and an account of flight along with remote identification systems and geoawareness systems. The drone must be within the constant view of the pilot. It is not permitted to fly over groups of people or in areas used for commercial, industrial or recreation reasons. The drone must remain below 120 meters above ground level.

If you plan to fly a drone that is not included in the categories above You must obtain an additional permission from the Civil Aviation Authority. This is referred to as an operational authorisation. You can find out more about how to apply for this here.

A1 applicants must have a minimum of 16 years of experience in riding two-wheeled vehicles. They must also have completed the mandatory basic training and passed both a theory as well as a practical test. In addition, they must possess a valid medical certificate.

A1 license holders are permitted to drive mopeds with an engine capacity of not more than 1250 cc, and a power-to-weight ratio not greater than 0.01 kW/kg. They can also ride motorcycles with a maximum cylinder capacity of 125 cc, as well as trikes and quad bikes as well as quad-bikes.

The category A1 licence is designed to make it easier for drivers to be able to move to the next category of vehicle. This allows drivers to drive vehicles with an maximum mass of 35 kW. This is an incentive to gain some experience driving vehicles with less power before moving onto the higher licence categories.

Drones that are currently being used but do not have the CE mark can be flown under subcategory "A1" until January 1, 2024. This is because they are deemed to be low risk and are not a major risk to the public. They must, however, be at least 150 meters away from buildings, industries and recreation areas. They must also not fly over crowds or within 5 kilometers of airfields or airports.

A2

If you've completed your CBT training and are seeking a motorcycle license, you may be eligible for a category A1 licence. This allows you drive an unrestricted motorcycle without a sidecar. It must have an engine capacity of up to 125cc, and a power output of up to 11kW. The licence is only accessible to those who are 16 years of age. You can learn more about the various categories and their regulations by viewing your driving licence information online.

You can also fly in the A2 sub-category with drones that weigh a total of up to 4kg however, Egzamin A1 you must keep them at a safe distance from other people during take-off and landing. The drones must be at least 30m away from people in low-speed mode, or 5m if they are not involved. You also must pass the A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC) test to fly in this category.

If you plan to fly larger drones, you must apply for a specific category operator's permit, which requires completing the General VLOS Certificate (GVC) training and flight assessment, as well as creating an Operations Manual. The application process is similar to applying for a PfCO. You can find out more about the requirements in our detailed guide.

A2 allows you to fly transitional drones, which are not yet CE-marked, but they have been modified to lessen collision risks with people. These drones are only allowed to be flown in A2 until end of 2022. After that, they will need to comply with the A3 rules.

The A1 and A2 categories can help you become a confident and safe motorcyclist. The amount of lessons you need depends on your level of capability and the progress you are making in learning, however, you must complete a specific amount of special rides. This includes a minimum of five lessons on country roads, egzamin praktyczny a1 four on highways and three lessons in darkness or dawn.

A3

This category allows drones with an maximum takeoff mass of 25 kg. Although it is a lower risk operation, strict precautions should be taken to reduce possible incidents. A distance of safety of 150 meters must be maintained from residential, commercial, industrial and recreational areas. This is also a requirement that drones be equipped with an identification system for remotes and Geoawareness System.

This tier is also divided into sub-categories, A1, A2 or A3. The A1 subcategory permits flights over people who are not involved and is only restricted to drones that have a Class identification label C0 or C1. It imposes a minimum distance of 30 metres from any third party when flying at an altitude of flight or 5 metres in slow flight mode.

Drones that are class-identified with the label C2 can be operated in subcategory A2 in the event that the drone is in compliance with the dimensions required and the remote pilot is able to pass an additional test of theoretical knowledge. This exam is designed to test the remote pilot's understanding of the operational and technical mitigations to mitigate the dangers of flying larger drones (class C2, weighing less than 4kg mass) close to people. The successful completion of this test will result in the awarding of the 'certificate of competence required to fly in category A2'.

There are transitional arrangements that permit older drones, which are not certified, to operate under categories A1 and/or A2 for two years following the introduction of the new EU regulations. Legacy drones cannot be flown over people and must carry an A2 CofC.

To operate drones in this category, you must pass the regular online flyer ID test and follow up with a second theory exam. In addition, you must declare that you have gained some practical knowledge of your drone and pass an official declaration of competence. These requirements are similar in nature to the driving license model which means that the driver who has first obtained their license for a vehicle of a lower category can then be upgraded to the higher category.

A4

The DOH is preparing detailed guidelines for category A4. These guidelines will be consistent with other operations, and will include details like the number of dressings changed per day. They will be presented to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infections (IATF-EID) and the DOH National Immunization Technical Advisory Group. The IATF-EID and DOH's National Immunization Technical Advisory Group will review and approve the guidelines prior to being finalized.

Drones that have the C0 or C1 can fly within 50 metres of those who aren't involved in the incident. This is a low-risk category however, strict security measures are still required to minimize incidents. Drones classified as Kup Prawo Jazdy Kategorii A1 or A2 must take an additional theoretical test to be able to operate in this subcategory.

This test is designed to test your knowledge of the additional risks that come with flying drones near people. The certificate of competence is issued after successful completion of this test. The pilot must also maintain a minimum distance of 30 metres from any person who is not involved or 5 metres when flying in a slow-flying mode.

If you want to obtain an motorcycle license it is necessary to complete some instruction classes to take the theory test and subsequently pass the practical test. It's based on your age, skills and progress in learning. But, at least 12 lessons of 90 minutes are required to be completed.

During these lessons you will become familiar with your machine and traffic laws. You will also learn valuable tips regarding how to drive in difficult situations. It is also necessary to attend some special rides in addition to the mandatory driving lessons.

The new category E amalgamates classes A1 (retail), class A2 (financial and professional services), class B1 (offices) Class A4 (restaurants/cafes) and classes A5 and B5 (hot food takeaway). It also includes health/medical uses as well as creches and nurseries, as well as indoor recreation facilities. The new licensing system is expected to streamline and reduce costs. The landlords will now be able to make use of their properties in ways that they are currently not permitted to do.
