Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's best robot vacuum for large house (dalrymple-trolle-2.federatedjournals.com)-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of any object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It has a sleek, high-end piece that appears like a toy rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor vacuum robot. It even managed to capture sand and small gravel that other robots couldn't do. And all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who need mopping and a vac in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be one that is a hybrid. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to vacuum and mop your house at the same time. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuum cleaner deals vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it doesn't have some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and adjust your home map, or change the room cleaning robot's label.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place emptying the bin is done easily. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, but it can help easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum deals black friday vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the best budget robot vacuum in the industry, but it's expensive.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The station's most appealing feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tried that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, for instance, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does it all.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard flooring, and mopping capabilities at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an outlet for power and ample space to allow it to move, however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It will fit under many couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less flashy than some of the rival models, and features sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in an arc for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from other models. It uses an integrated map to draw a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It remembers the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It will return to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin, which doesn't require more emptying. It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 however is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
