The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored very well in our tests on bare floors They are also adept in cleaning dog hair. They do have some flaws however, which hinder them from being our top option. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is that its navigation system does not have AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's therefore prone to get stuck on shoes and socks and couldn't navigate densely packed rooms very well in our tests. It also doesn't come with an image sensor that lets it see the corners of an area.
It's still a good value particularly if your home or office has a lot of bare floors and you're looking to save money. It's also quiet and can be used while you're at work or at school. The only thing it doesn't have that you won't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. It's also less effective at mopping, using disposable wet wipes that don't stay on for long and don't deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle however. If you're in need of it mop, the mopping pad can be replaced with an awe-inspiring one in a matter of minutes.

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming into a sleek, compact package. Its smart cleaning maps and quick navigation make it easy to clean and effective in dealing with larger particles such as pet hair. It also has a self-emptying bin with powerful suction and support for virtual boundaries. 3. IRobot Roomba X40
This mop and vacuum combination has a sleek, circular design that looks more like the regular Roomba model than the bulky models of the competition. It's among our most appealing looking robot vacuum best vacuums. The newest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).

It also has a front mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards however this was not foolproof in our tests and was sometimes confused with obstructions or power cords.
Its vacuum cleaner has the capacity to suction up to 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to accomplish the task.
