The i3+ isn't able to have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have tested. It could be stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between surfaces, such as rug and hardwood.
iRobot suggests that you clean the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes putting away any toys or other items it may encounter. The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the latest features. It has self-charging and self-navigating, but the most important feature is the self-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba i7+ is able to remember up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint Smart Mapping, which allows it to create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or through the app.
The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin that eliminates a major source of maintenance and lowers the amount of time spent cleaning.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. When connected, we were able to give the i7+ voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

In a world of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like a sports car. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, but it is also compact enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.
The V10 is powered with seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries, which produces power without fading for 60 minutes. Its sophisticated whole-machine filtration system removes allergens, and then releases clean air back into your home. The specialized head uses rigid nylon bristles to penetrate into carpets, and then pick up large dust or crumbs. It has three suction modes that can be adjusted to the task. It is able to swiftly switch from handheld to floor vacuum and vice versa.
The model also comes with docks that charge to 100% in around 3.5 hours and provides easy access to two attachments and a clip for a wand. This is a big improvement over older Dysons, which take a long time to charge and are a pain to store.
The main drawback of the V10 is its limited run time. Its claims on the market that it can provide up to 60 minutes of run time are misleading, as CR's testing shows. This is a typical not an extraordinary run time for the battery-powered cordless vacuum. It's still enough time to get rid of the majority of a typical-sized home however, it's not enough to get every single area (though a second run-through usually will suffice). This model has its own advantages however: it's light and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeable superior on low-pile best floor vacuum robot carpet.

It could pick up most types of debris and sizes during our tests, and frequently went over the same area several times for an efficient clean. Its flat front end helps it reach into corners and along the edges of walls, which is a nice touch.
Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate around your home, but it lacks the mapping capabilities of more sophisticated models such as our top choices such as the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. It is prone to getting stuck on phone cords or low furniture and often runs out of power before returning to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 in that it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, incurs lower cost of recurring costs and is more sophisticated in its automation capabilities and is able to better move its own. It also has a bigger dustbin and charges faster.
The eufy RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 in most purposes, because it has a longer battery life, the ability to change the suction power mode by hand, comes with physical boundary strips, and is controlled by your smartphone's voice assistant. It's also more robust, has a more powerful motor, and is more effective on floors with bare or low-pile.
