World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage for every time it's upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the current level of the item. The cost rises with item upgrades's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets in order to provide an additional stat boost or impact while they're being used. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a special type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the non-ascended back items. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging ascended gear or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of the equipment using less Upgrade Crystals than would be required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of a weapon, or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or by buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals each.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher tier version of the item will be revealed at the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their equipment even if they are unsure what can be improved upon an update.

The process of upgrading an item could be expensive, and it is possible that the item will become obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also offer the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes in a radius around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible up to 15 levels.

You will often find in the final game that placing Glyphs is the most effective method to upgrade your equipment. These are the only upgrade item component which can be upgraded to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values that it can improve a statistic by. The value is shown when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs boost all nodes that are connected to them, therefore it is best to put Glyphs in the most important places on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also consider placing them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to boost the power of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of an item requires a different amount of components to reach and the costs for upgrading increase as the item is leveled up.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to leveling up an item. Once enough points are earned, you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When an individual player upgrades the equipment they have it will be replaced with an item that is new. The same armor will be upgraded to the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set of bonuses. This could be a problem because it can make the item more expensive if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll item upgrades. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will have an initial level and a different set of extra bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, however it's not something that should be repeated often, as it can use up lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the max roll by 10 points. This item can be extremely valuable in PvP as the best version of it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader (Google`s recent blog post) NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items boost their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, except for hero gear which can have eight upgrades. Every each time you upgrade an item it is given an opportunity to fail. The rate of failure increases as you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to revert back to its original state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item upgrader mod isn't upgraded, the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally the item will be deducted any gained bonuses such as crit chance, attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For instance an item of common use could have five upgrades at a cost. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items might require different upgrades than normal equipment. For example they might require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. However, players will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of the ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses mentioned above.
