Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of buy a robot vacuum now is the time. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot vacuum cleaner robot to mop we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease without leaving any trace that was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app that lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System is also self-emptying which will reduce your automated cleaning time.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it on the floor. It even could catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots couldn't do. And all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's hard to determine whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best option is probably hybrid. These robots come with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're expensive at full retail but often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our most loved robotic vacuum cleaner on sale vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not come with some of the expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option if you are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem which many robot vacuums fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few missed corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and modify your home map or re-label the rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place, emptying the bin is done with relative ease. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people however it will help you keep track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and functionality are some of the best robot vacuum cleaner on the market - but it's also pricey.

It's a tiny base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.

And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does very well at cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, for instance and it doesn't have an dock that allows the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.

Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price price.

If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper however it comes with more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that have the right combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping capabilities at a reasonable price. It's easy to setup by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock close to an electrical outlet and ample space to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it can fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, with sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. If it requires a recharge, it automatically returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it began.

The sleek G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30, however is less expensive and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
