Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted into a triple travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It offers 24 different configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating the temperature. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double buggy 3 wheels stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a medium-sized shade and an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to open or close. The telescoping handlebar is among of the easiest to adjust and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline and there is a footwell adjuster to help you place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is roomy however we would prefer it had a latch that is more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers a little frustrating since they must be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and a significant improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake lever that some of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or parents with just one child and a baby on the way. It can be used to fit the majority of infant car seats made by major brands by using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families who already own a car seat but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller for this scenario.
