The latest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads).

It's also the only robot vacuum/mop to score the perfect 10/10 out of 10 in our tests. This is due to a mix of high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, camera and multiple lasers. 4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum best vacuum and mop, with a lot of advanced features that let you get rid of your chores. Similar to Ecovacs range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that takes the care of vacuuming and mopping, with a multi-function dock that automatically empty the autonomous vacuum's trash bin, refills its water tank, washes and dry the mop pads.

The smart robot employs the combination of LIDAR and structured light to create floor plans and identify obstacles, and navigates more effectively than its top competitors. It also has a front-mounted camera for real-time detection of hazards, although this wasn't quite 100% foolproof during our tests and was often confused by power cords or other obstructions.

The vacuum cleaner comes with an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to complete the task. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the amount of time the vacuum works and alters the frequency of cleaning for different areas of the home depending on the degree of dirt they tend to be.
