World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items give players the possibility of upgrading equipment that they already own. This can be done by any item upgrader NPC.

Upgrades increase the main stat of an item and also add additional features based on the type of item level upgrade. Examples include Whistan's shield, for FB Sorcs or Goldwraps for build casters.

Armour

Armour is one of the key things that keeps Link protected from damage in all situations. While it isn't able to be upgraded like weapons, you can enhance its defense capabilities in different ways.

The basic idea of armour is to safeguard animals or people from physical harm or injury in the form of direct physical attack or various environmental and activity hazards. In the past, most armour was made from leather or fabric, but metal protections were also utilized, especially for military applications like heavy cavalry and combat drones.

Like weapons there are a variety of ways that armour can be upgraded, however, most of them will require a visit to one of the four Great Fairy Fountains located throughout Hyrule. Each fountain has a unique level of upgrades with higher levels of upgrades granting higher levels of protection, but needing a higher amount of rupees and the materials needed to unlock.

The first thing to note about Armor Upgrades is that they are permanent upgrades, meaning that once they've been applied they can't be replaced unless there is another piece of equipment that has the same upgrade. You should only apply highest-level upgrades to your equipment and ensure that you have all the components needed to complete them.

You can find the upgrades you require in a variety of locations throughout Hyrule. These include shrines, merchants and even enemies. They are usually marked with the gold circle or blue triangle symbol and can be found in large quantities as you progress through the game. While they may appear randomly, there's an opportunity that acquiring certain upgrade components will result in quests that reward you with more.

It's also worth noting that although the level of protection offered by each upgrade varies, it is the same across all upgrades and will always be superior to nothing. This is because a full set of upgraded armour will grant you a high defense boost, which will shield you from all forms of attacks except magic and makes it a formidable weapon for any class.

Weapons

You can upgrade your guns by using special upgrades that make them unique. These can increase damage, alter the weapon's stats in order to adapt to your build or even unlock new attachments like unique enchantments, ammo types, and aesthetic options.

You'll require both the upgrade component as well as the weapon itself to upgrade it. The weapon should be at a minimum of an appropriate level to upgrade it. Most weapons can only take one upgrade.

There are weapon upgrade components scattered around the globe and even from enemies and can be purchased from merchants. Upgrade components are a mix of components that you can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to gain an attribute bonus. The equipment must be at a certain level in order to accept the upgrade. It can be upgraded in the same way as other items.

Upgrades are a mix of Smithing Stones (a type of stone) and Runes. They can be used to boost the power of weapons and enhance their scaling with other stats. These upgrades are available from enemies in the open or from merchants. They are also dropped through combat.

Two NPCs can enhance your weapon: Blacksmith Hewg, located in the Roundtable Hold hub zone and the Smithing Master Iji located in the Road to Manor hub zone. Both of these NPCs will accept your Smithing Stones and Runes in exchange for a more powerful version of the weapon and an enhancement.

Prioritize upgrading your most-used slot items first. Then upgrade the ones you're not likely to replace in the near future. Upgrade your weapon first, and then upgrade your chest, shoulders hands, feet, and hands if you plan to play an asymmetrical build. The same principles apply to Magic and Utility Items, with the caveat that some procs may be better than others, based on your style of play. The same is true for Armour and reforges, with some being superior to others.

Magic Items

A character is able to upgrade only one magic Best item upgrader. If an upgrade project is cancelled, no more upgrades will be planned for the item upgrader kit (Click To See More). Magic items that are upgraded cost twice the gold they would normally cost to create or purchase however they may have extra advantages.

A magical item upgrading is any item with special properties or effects. These are typically weapons, but they can also be shields, armors or cloaks as well as potions. They could also be rings, scrolls, or other items. Some of these items may be converted into a sentient.

Many magic items can be enhanced in their abilities. This can make them more useful to a player or help players overcome difficult situations. A weapon that is infused can provide bonus damage against a particular type of enemy, for instance. This is particularly beneficial for characters that have reached a point at which they'll likely encounter the same type of monster in dungeons repeatedly.

A ring infused with magic could give immunity to non-magical attacks that bludgeon or pierce or slash (excluding silver-based attacks) until the character gets another long rest. This is especially beneficial for combatants who are melee, or any character who wishes to save the expense and hassle of buying a shield.

Certain objects with enchanted properties have special powers which allow the character to cast spells that are not in their class list. This is a great benefit for characters that have trouble keeping their spell slots full because of multiclassing. These items that are enchanted generally require an Intelligence (Arcana) check to use, and the spell's effectiveness is determined by rolling on an index determined by the number of Intelligence points expended.

Other items that can be enchanted may allow the player to change their appearance, or create a completely new one. These items can be especially useful for characters who were forced to leave their home or are in a location that they might not be welcome. A magical item can provide them with invisibility or make them invisible for everyone, except for the chosen person.

Utility Items

Utility items are products that do not fit into the categories of clothing, armor or Weapons and have a range of different capabilities. Utility items are not compatible with each other, in contrast to Armor or Weapons. Most utility items provide an effect that the player can activate by using them but some also have additional capabilities that activate when the user presses the button or activates the ability.

The Flashlight is the most common accessory. It illuminates the surrounding area. Other useful items include the Helicopter Cap and Rocket Boots which allow the player to hover in mid-air when moving, and the Jetpack which allows the player to accelerate in any directions when on the ground. Several utility items can be instantly produced in the Engineering section, while others can be unlocked through research projects or experimental projects in the Proving Ground.

In addition to the items that are available in the regular inventory, players can also unlock the most powerful utility items by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop and also from seasonal Scoreboard rewards (such as the Shadow Goggles). Some of these items can be upgraded to allow more efficient use.

The majority of utilitarian items give players an advantage in navigation or enhance a specific combat ability. For example, Sharpening stones created by the Weaponsmith boost Ferocity and Power as well as Maintenance Oils created by the Huntsman boost the concentration and healing power. Other items that are useful can be utilized by players to increase Damage or Condition Damage.

All XCOM soldiers are capable of equipping one useful item upgrade at the beginning of the campaign. Later, an additional slot can be obtained by equipping certain types of armor or by completing engineering, research or experiments in the Proving Ground. During the Alien Hunters DLC, additional slots are added by equipping the Grenade Launcher which lets the player equip an Smoke Grenade or Bomb in an additional grenade slot, while an offensive grenade is placed in the main slot for grenades.
