Best Twin Stroller For Newborns
A double stroller is essential if you're expecting twins or if you have two children who are similar in age. The best double strollers offer different ways to ride your children including side by side seating and an attachment for boards.
The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favourite stroller. It adapts to the needs of your family seamlessly. It can accommodate two infant car seats and an infant seat. This makes it a great choice for twins.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the ideal twin stroller for families who need a stylish, double side-byside stroller. It's a little bigger than other Bugaboo strollers however, it is solid and built to last. It has a handlebar that can be adjusted to extend and retract easily. It also has a fantastic reach, making it easy for my 6'1 husband to push, even when loaded.
Seats are large and can be set up so that one child sits behind another or so that children face each other. The seats can recline independently of one other. The canopies cover both seat fabrics If you want. However, they don't provide much ventilation so they can feel like a small oven on hot days. They also don't have a peek-aboo window to see the children.
One of the most distinctive features of this stroller is its ability to adapt to your family's needs from the single seat (Mono mode) all the way up to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only double stroller convertible that can do this! It can even be used with an additional car seat or bassinet for newborns.
It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces and handles slopes and steps well. The only downside is that it can be difficult to navigate in crowded shops and restaurants. It can be a bit difficult to fold the seat, especially if it's connected. It's still pretty small, however, and is able to fit through most doors easily.
There is a storage bin that is attached to the frame next to the front seat in mono mode. This is useful for groceries and other items. The main storage basket under the seats is huge and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any stroller we have listed!
Uppababy Vista V2
This is one of the most popular twin strollers for newly borns. It can be used right out of box as a double stroller and is compatible with numerous infant car seats and bassets. It can even accommodate two infant car seats or bassets at the same time if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.
The V2 is a redesigned version of the original Vista. The toddler seat is half an inch higher, the footrest is more space and the canopy has an extender fabric that zips out and provides additional coverage. The harness has also been modernized in that it does not require re-threading. This makes it easier to adjust.
The stroller comes with fairly large wheels (8 inches in front and 11.5 inches in the back) with a strong suspension, so it can easily handle all kinds of terrain. The wheels made of rubber on the front are ideal for navigating rocks and gravel and the tread on the rear wheels is better for sidewalks and grassy hills.
Another feature that is great is the ability to connect a child's bike to the front of the stroller, which is a handy option for those who don't want to use an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have an older child who is able to stand, the Vista can also accommodate the third child using its piggyback ride along board accessory.
Vista Vista is easy to use and set up. It does take some time to take off all the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is an YouTube video if you need help understanding the instructions.

In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for its ease of use. This metric is based on how easy it is to fold and set up the stroller, adjust the safety harness, open and close the snack tray, engage and disengage the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller as if placing it into a trunk, and for double strollers compatible, install and remove the infant car seat.
There are some downsides to this model, however. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded which puts it close to the top of our measurement. It also has limited visibility in the back seat when a car seat is installed. In addition the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, especially after long-term use. Even with these limitations, we think this is a great double stroller that will keep your family together for many years to come.

We were not happy the fact that the cup holder sits extremely high on the frame. You'll have to bend down to reach it.
In our tipping test, the Jeep fell over at 39 degrees of incline which is a bit higher than the average for a double stroller. It's a little heavier however, it has more storage space for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.
