In our tests the i7+ was more agile and faster than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surface types, including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin that eliminates the main sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to start or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and even vacuum a specific area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. We were able, once connected, to speak commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom."
