For one, the Q5's navigation system does not have AI-powered obstacle avoidance, so it's prone to become entangled in shoes and socks, and is unable to navigate rooms with a lot of people efficiently in our tests. Also, it doesn't have cameras that let it see the corners of an area.
It's still a good robot vacuum value particularly if your home or office has lots of unfinished flooring and you're looking to save some money. Plus, it's very quiet and can be used while you're at work, or going to school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming robots that vacuum and mop is available in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could refill and empty its basestation autonomously. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa as well as self-cleaning mop mops.

Its vacuum has a suction capacity of 7,000 Pascals, which is more than enough to finish the job. It also comes with an option known as "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the power of the vacuum and adjusts the frequency of cleaning for various areas of the house depending on how dirty the areas are.
If you own a larger home, it's worth choosing a model that has spot or zone cleaning mode.
