Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's best combo vacuum-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's also the first to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas you don’t wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It features a sleek, high-end piece that resembles toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty and is ideal for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it across the floor. It even managed to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots can't. And it did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best robot vacuum choice is probably a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. disappoint. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an ideal option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, design virtual barrier and no-go areas and adjust your home map, or change the room's label.

If you opt for the Q5+ it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once in place, emptying the bin is easy. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, but it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are some of the best on the market - but it's also pricey.

The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is relatively compact. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, chores and functions that other robots have to leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot vacuum sale fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that do a really good job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra budget robot vacuum vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do it all.

However, if you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot there are many alternatives available, including a lot of eufy models that cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be placed close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.

The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The main aspect that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable items that are in its path. It keeps track of the items it has cleaned and where it cannot access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it left off.

The eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges faster and has a similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be empty as often and comes with an array of boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand is less expensive and much easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be emptied as often and it's less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
