The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop with your voice.
The design is also superior to the competition. It features a sleek, top piece that resembles toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base automatic floor cleaner Dirt disposal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.
In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it on the floor. It even could capture sand and small gravel, which most other robots can't. It did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.
While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying automated vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best option is probably one that is a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with a variety of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but usually come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have some of the premium features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. With the app you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or re-label rooms.
If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin is done without difficulty. It features a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people but it can assist you in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot vacuum cleaner black friday with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the top available - but it's also pricey.
The base station looks nice and is easily hidden when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes various tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac I've used that has done a good job picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do everything.

The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper, but offers more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be placed near an outlet with plenty of room to move.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise It will fit under many sofas and other furniture with low clearance. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, and features sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from other models. It uses an integrated map to make an image of the immovable items that are in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with the boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
