This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little missing in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It features a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone, but it's one that will assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and automatic vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are among the top available however it's expensive.

While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price tag.

Eufy, a Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price.
