It's therefore prone to get stuck on shoes and socks, and it couldn't navigate densely packed rooms very well in our tests. Also, it doesn't have cameras that let it see the corners of an area.

It's still a great option for those who want to save money on a Roomba from iRobot, and you have a bare-floored home or office. It's also extremely quiet and operates when you're at work or in school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. It is dependent on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has an auto-emptying dock, however. It's the only robotic vacuum/mop that scored 100% in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors that include cameras, a structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could fill and empty its basestation on its own. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop mops.

The X40 is, like the other iRobot products, is easy to use. It has an intuitive mobile app interface that is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop with a lot of advanced features to help you forget about your chores.
