Both robots are adept at cleaning up surface debris from carpets and hard floors, and they're excellent at moving around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home, which help the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a way that maximizes efficiency. However unlike the i7+ or other top Rated robot vacuum-rated robots that we tested the i3+ doesn't have obstacle-avoidance capabilities which means it can get stuck on things such as power cords or socks, and may have issues in navigating through transitions between surfaces like from hardwood to rug.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes getting rid of any clutter or toys it may come across. It's also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clean so that they do not become blocked by dirt. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and takes the dirt out of the docking station's dust bin. The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint Smart Mapping, a system that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and direct your robot by voice or via the app.
The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin that removes major maintenance sources and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and to move around the room, and even vacuum the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car that is amidst a sea of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It's powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.
The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense lithium-ion battery that produces energy that is not faded for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filtering system captures allergens, and then lets cleaner air into your home. The specially designed head utilizes stiff nylon bristles to drive deep into carpets and pick up large dust or crumbs. It has three suction modes that can be adjusted to the specific task. It quickly switches from handheld vacuum to floor vacuum and back again.
The model comes with an attached dock that charges the Dyson to 100% within 3.5 hours. It also provides easy access to 2 attachments as well as a Wand. This is a big improvement over older Dysons, that require a long charge and are difficult to store.
The V10's biggest drawback is its short run time. As CR's tests have shown, its claims to run up to 60 minutes are a bit misleading. This is a common, not exceptional, battery-powered cordless vacuum's running time. It's still enough time to clean most of a home that's average size but not long enough to get every single area (though the second time around usually does the trick). That's not to say this model doesn't have its advantages: It's lighter and agile than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming performance is significantly better on low-pile carpet.
4. iRobot Roomba 694"
The 694 is a basic robotic vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have a lot of money to spend on the latest model of robot. It's capable of sucking up all debris types and sizes during our tests, and it frequently goes over the same areas multiple times to get a really thorough clean. Its flat front end helps to get into corners and along the edges of walls and walls, which is a nice addition.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it isn't equipped with the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models like our top picks and the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. It may get stuck on cords for phones or furniture that is low and will often run out of power before returning to its base.

Samsung is a well-known brand in the field of home electronics. It's not surprising, then, that they are also among the top manufacturers of robot vacuums and mop. Jet Bot AI+ has an advanced onboard technology that allows to navigate and avoid obstacles.
The app provides plenty of options to personalize your robotic cleaner, such as virtual barriers mopping water levels, behavior modification docking frequency settings and much more. The app is easy to use and understand as are other Samsung devices.
In our tests during our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and it cleaned up 86% of dog hair (on carpet). However, it didn't do particularly well in avoiding taller objects like cords and socks, which was disappointing. It's also more expensive than the other models we've tested and this could be a deterrent for some buyers.
The smart vacuum has an onboard camera that you can access through the app, and you can also create a live stream from the robot's cleaning station.
