Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens
