best automatic vacuum and mop Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with a specialized app to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets plants, small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on an object.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it did well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It also has a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you do opt for this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot hoover and mop brands that allow users to use their own cleaner of choice.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a area and navigated around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot vacuum cleaner's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

This machine has one major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice feature and can help this robot clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
