The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app that lets you schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it by speaking to it.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy robotic vacuum cleaner comparison rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place rather than scattering it around the floor. It even was able to capture sand and small gravel that other robots couldn't do. And it did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, although not as smart as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and isn't able to clean smart robot the stairs, is still an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean floors, the best option is probably hybrid. This type of robot typically includes a built-in water tank that allows them to mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. They also have a range of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't fail to impress. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't have some of the more premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent choice when you're willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little missed corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with the buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labels of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also comes with an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people, but it's one that will assist you in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are some of the top available however, it's also expensive.

It's a small base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require this.

And its vacuuming is impressive, too. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that does a really good job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It also can't climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot broom that can do everything.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. Many eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper, but offers more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock near an electrical outlet and plenty of room for it to move around, however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is a little less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The primary feature that sets the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require as much emptying. It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30, however, is more affordable and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be empty as often and has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
