Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the best robotic mop and vacuum models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to identify our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down stairs in a single pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rugs.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum cleaner best vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping feature is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.

This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it can sometimes get caught up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good, with a pair spinning mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that swings out in order to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin around obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.

Its app has a streamlined user interface that is designed to be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always reach every last bit of dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot cleaner with mop that vacuums as well as mop, is made to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has some of the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home, which allows it to get into places that other vacuums are unable to reach. The device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction if needed. The app also lets you to mark areas you want to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
