Upgrading equipment grants an additional bonus to the item's base stats. The bonus is based on the rarity and level of the upgrade component.

Components

Upgrade components are the items that improve your armor and weapons better. You can find them by destroying enemies, buying them from karma vendors or finding them in items-spheres. Unlike most other items upgrades aren't destroyed when removed from an item.

Upgrade components are mostly used to improve an item but they can also be used for other purposes. Sets
