Robots That best automatic vacuum and Mop

Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills, staining) in one go without having to swap out devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's among the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual can get you running in no time with the complete dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at fast speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a selection of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.

You could, for instance ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models are unable to. The only drawback is that the robot tends to hit walls and objects at full speed. However, a quick look at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what the robot vacuum with mop accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles it has encountered or avoided.

A convenient LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance jobs are required including emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent into the tank automatically by using a 600ml eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time as well, with the mop being able to operate for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in normal mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you see every aspect of the cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. The model this year has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power that enables it to pull up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.

This Roborock model, like the other two I tested it has infrared and a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it overcome obstacles like furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and determine whether they are a wall or another surface. It then can alter its path automatically and clean them without stumbling.

It's the most expensive model I've tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular design is attractive and it has just three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to send the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin auto-refills.

The only downside I've discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount itself to wash manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, which could cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. You'll have to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

The X40 also comes with a side brush that can be extended and lifted. This lets it reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture that is curved like table and chair legs. It also allows the robot vacuum cleaner reviews to reach under furniture that is low-profile which makes it a great choice for small apartments and condominiums with small spaces. The side brush also automatically tilts down when detecting wet spots. This is a nice touch that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by repeated back-andforth movements.

In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can also be programmed to skip areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors, and vice versa. The X40 will also monitor its progress and notify you when it is finished.

The X40 is easy to keep clean and has many features that make it an excellent choice for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. It can also tell when the mop pad is overflowing and notify you before it overflows, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. It has many characteristics that make it stand out. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It utilizes two mops that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can vacuum up pet hair and small dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.

Its mops are also cleaned and dried inside the base station after every use. This is a fantastic feature because it prevents the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and also makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen in other robot mop or vacuum models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.

There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app lets you set these preferences or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers many options for customising the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are a lot of features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles instead of using an individual setting.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on the market, sporting metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It's a bit heavier than some of the other two-in-1 robots on this list, at 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy, and feels sturdy and well-built.
