World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template that is ending in % will take on 3damage to attack each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before a component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can include a suffix or prefix changing the name of the equipment with which it is applied (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of that equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the defense or attack characteristics of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop, or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

The player can get the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-level version of the item will drop during the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know what can be improved upon an update.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process can be costly and there is a high risk that the item level upgrade may be obsolete or even break when it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the possibility of failure. Certain upgrades also provide a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible to level 15.

In the endgame, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is to place Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components which can be upgraded to level 15 and provide a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.

Using a Glyph will boost all nodes connected to it, and you should aim to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. For instance an Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes, but also consider placing them near critical damage nodes too.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to improve the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item, and when enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor will receive the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback in that the item could be more expensive even if you do not need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be useful however it should not be used frequently as it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to personalize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives an increase in power if the player repeatedly enters or exits water. This item can be upgraded many times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item can be extremely useful in PvP battles, since the Best item upgrade version of it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The upgrader for items lets players increase the level of their equippable equipment (armor, weapons, and trinkets) above ilvl385 by presenting the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also improve the strength of their base defense, while upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal as well as the required strength and dexterity.

Each item upgrader can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear which can be upgraded up to eight times. Every each time you upgrade an item upgrade, it is given an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to go back to its original state, requiring the player to spend more money on materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an Item Upgrader Kit isn't upgraded, the experience bar in its growth bar will reset to zero. In addition the item will be deducted any gained bonuses such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as all other effects that are associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item level upgrade is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded gains a crit chance increase that it will be applied before any damage to attack increases. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is recomputed each time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its base value. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Players will still have to take every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment will require different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the cost listed above.
