5 Reasons Item Upgrade Is Actually A Beneficial Thing
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item with an identical Best item upgrader and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any money wasted won't get compensated.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item upgrader kit they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item upgrading with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can place an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item upgrader mod will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item upgrader the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
