UPPAbaby G-Luxe
With a track record of well-designed products that are elegant and feature-packed, the UPPAbaby G-Luxe is an excellent choice for parents who wish to travel. It is extremely light and folds into an extremely compact size for transport. It also comes with a front wheel lock that helps keep the stroller in place when it is in use and a fixed canopy that gives plenty of protection from the sun. It is simple to move and has an ideal storage basket that can accommodate quite a lot of equipment.

It also has a convenient brake system that is one step and tall handlebars that make it easier to push for parents of all heights, and a hand-level folding mechanism that makes it easy to store.
The UPPAbaby G-Luxe has a new, robust frame that mimics the VISTA CRUZ and VISTA strollers. It also has an updated, single-wheeled front design that improves maneuverability, and a larger canopy that has an open sunshade that provides SPF 50+ protection. It also has a convenient storage basket, and an easy-to-access back-of-seat storage compartment.
While the G-Luxe was a top performer in our noise tests however, it wasn't at the top of the line in terms of performance and durability. It also had the least recline positions of all our test models and its rear-facing seats aren't recommended for children less than two years.
While the UPPAbaby G-Luxe did not win our best umbrella stroller award, it was a close contender and offers many of the features that make our top picks so loved by families. It weighs 16 pounds and has a small folded footprint however, it's not as compact as the other models we evaluated. The Summer Infant 3D Lite is 2 pounds lighter than the G-Luxe and folds down to an even smaller size which makes it a great option for parents who want a stroller that is light and is easy to move.
BabyZen Yoyo2
The BabyZen Yoyo2 pram delivers on its promises. It's easy to use, lightweight, and stylish. It's designed to be a part of urban life, and if you would like to travel with it then it will work well for that too. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other options on this list but it's one of the few that come with an umbrella for rain.
Five Frenchmen formed BabyZen to develop an easy-to-use stroller ideal for urban environments. The YOYO2 version is their most recent. The YOYO2 is an original folding and unfolding device that can be operated with just one hand. It's also extremely compact and light and can be carried on the shoulder. It's a great choice for babies and includes the capacity of a bassinet. It's then able to convert into a seat once your baby is ready to go to this stage. You can also add a car seat to make it an entire travel system.
In terms of features In terms of features, the YOYO2 has a great suspension that can handle rough terrain with ease and is extremely easy to push around. It has a large storage basket, as well as an internal zip pocket that is large enough to fit your wallet, phone, or snacks. It can be linked to other YOYOs to accommodate larger families. It's compatible with all Babyzen products, including a footmuff or an enormous shopping basket.
The only downside of the YOYO2 would be that it's not suitable for long walks on cobblestones, or in parks. It's a smooth ride, but might not be as durable as a product designed for more rocky terrain. If you plan on using it for short city walks and to run errands then it should do the job very well. The YOYO2 is easy to get into and out of the boot of my Honda Civic and can also be tucked away in the footwell. It's also smaller than people's hand luggage, making it perfect for flying with a baby.
Summer Infant 3D Lite
The Summer Infant 3D Lite stroller is a light, practical toddler stroller with many features. It can be folded into a compact size so it is easy to transport and store. It is one of the lightest strollers we've test, and is one of the most affordable options. It is not suitable for daily use since it does not come with a bassinet, or a car seat, but it is great for travel.
It can hold toddlers easily. The seat is placed almost flat to facilitate diaper changes or naps. The 5-point harness can be adjusted into three different height positions. The storage basket is spacious and there's an apron for a cup on the back for parents to use. There is a window that peeks out on the canopy that is covered with the flap of fabric, and an additional pocket that is zippered for smaller items.
This stroller, just like the UPPAbaby G-Luxe is able to steer well on smooth surfaces, but can get stuck in cracks when we test it on rough terrain. The wheels are made of plastic and vibrate more than the average of our test group. It has a smaller strap for carrying than the majority of the strollers we tested, which makes it harder to carry when you're carrying a heavy bag.
The 3Dlite folds in four seconds and is then folded in six. There are a few steps to the process: raising the lever in the center of the back to release a latch, pushing down the latch on the right side of the back and then pushing the handles downwards. Although these aren't the fastest or slowest time for folding and unfolding a stroller, they are nevertheless quite fast. It also has a lot higher handle bars, which can be a problem for smaller people.
The Summer Infant 3D Lite has a major drawback: it doesn't have a sunshade. It has a decent canopy, but doesn't offer much protection for your child if you're walking facing the sun. It comes with a retractable visor that offers some protection when fully opened however it doesn't cover the head of the child.
Zoe Traveler
If you're looking for a lightweight and compact stroller, consider the Zoe Traveler. The stroller is not only lightweight, but it also can fold up to the size and shape of a carry-on suitcase! This is a big plus in our book. It also includes an umbrella for the sun as well as a console for parents and a variety of extras including an oversized backpack for storage or travel, cross-body or single shoulder straps, a kid's snack tray and an umbrella for the weather.
Zoe was founded by a family and is committed to creating products for parents that are as beneficial as possible as their children develop. This approach shows in their line of strollers, which range from a basic umbrella model to a twin double that can be expanded with reclining seats. The strollers offered by this company are some of the best available and provide the best value for the money.
We tested the Zoe Traveler in order to compare it with the competition on the basis of its functionality and user-friendliness. We analyzed a variety of aspects such as folding and unfolding, storage and maneuverability, and safety. It is a breeze to fold and unfold. However, it requires a little effort with just one hand. It's not as smooth as some of its competitors. It's not the best travel stroller (funny post) choice for taller parents, since the handlebars are only 40 inches high. This could make it uncomfortable on long trips.
Storage is essential in a stroller, especially when you're traveling. It's a significant portion of our overall ease of use score. The Zoe Traveler scored a solid 7 out of 10 in this category. There's a small storage bin at the back of the seat that can accommodate a diaper bag, and maybe a jacket or coat. But it's not going to hold a full day's worth.
The seats in the Zoe Traveler are comfortable but not the largest in our test group. They have average padding and two recline settings. The recline adjusts easily by using one hand, however it takes two hands to bring it up straight again.
