Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. This uses AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t want. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop with your voice.

Its design is also superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ swiftly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It was able to collect small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot do this. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know whether the update is working until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best affordable robot vacuum robot vacuum for tile floors (written by iqbal-husum.thoughtlanes.net) choice. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock produces some of our most loved robotic best vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it lacks some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums often fail. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls or in corners.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go zones or alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed, emptying the bin is done with relative ease. It also features a large LCD display, which is nice to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people, but it's one that will aid in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the best value robot vacuum on the market however it's expensive.

It's a small base station that looks stunning and can be hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot vacuum cleaner cheap fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that do very well at collecting debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do everything.

However, if you're looking to save some money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot there are many alternatives available which include a variety of eufy models priced substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and where it can't access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require to be empty as often and comes with an array of boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
