Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be used for multiple purposes. It can be transformed from a single stroller to double strollers by adding an additional seat (sold separately) or glider board. It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It has 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger's soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the leading single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar can be one of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment button so you can position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is large however we would prefer it had an opening that is more secure. It's easy to access but we found the zippers somewhat frustrating as they have to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and an improvement over the clunky brake levers other brands use.
This is the only stroller that we have reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's a great option for parents who have twins or expecting a baby soon. It can fit most infant car seats from the major brands by using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good option for families who already own a car seat but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
