Nine Things That Your Parent Taught You About Item Upgrader
World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a way to increase the stats of an item. Depending on the type of upgrade, it can boost the rarity of an item or mark Level and increase other stats.
Each item has a track for upgrading it. Each upgrade increases the price of the next item by a specific amount.
Item Level
When an item is upgraded, its basic stats increase in value. This value is the total of all its leveled up advantages (attack, magic attack and defense). The cost of upgrading items can be high depending on the upgrader you choose and what type of upgrade you choose to perform. This is due to the variety of perks that need to be changed in order to upgrade an item.
It is also used to enforce gating requirements when queueing for dungeons, raids and scenarios. It also serves as a gating requirement while queueing for dungeons, scenarios and raids, and to limit the amount of PvP gear that a player can wear (since PvP is limited to the lower levels). Players can see their average level of item on their character sheet.
Utilizing the level of an item can help players compare the strength of equipment when deciding to purchase or sell. It's a sign of the item's condition and quality. The item level can also be used to compare items when looking at a vendor's inventory.
On your PC, you can see the level of the item by pressing ALT or by using the left stick on XB1 or PS4. This will display the full description of the item, as well as its value. You can also find it by hovering over an item and typing in /itemlevel chat.
There are many theories about how the item level is calculated. One theory is that the item level is a number derived from a formula which calculates how much an item's stats are worth. It takes into consideration the fact that different perks have different worth, and also that sockets have gems that increase the item's overall value. This can result in a calculated item's ilvl that is usually very close to Blizzards actual level of the item.
This isn't the only thing that affects the level of an item upgrader mod. The level of the area where the item dropped can also change its stats. For instance it can increase the item's haste, or crit rating. Items that drop in higher-level situations will have higher ilvl.
Item Stats
The stats of an item can make or break an item for players. The game makes use of a lot of them in different ways to encourage players to use multiple weapons, and to prevent one weapon from being "the best." The base stats on a weapon are boosted by the weapon's stat mods that are in turn increased by the player's skill.
The upgrades to an item can boost its stats. The rarity of an item determines its upgrade cost. An item that is white or grey for instance, will only be upgraded once however, items that has rare tiers can be upgraded multiple times at higher prices.
Affixes can also be used to alter the stats of an item. They are stat boosts which can be added by the player to an item upgrader kit upgrade (www.buzzbii.com). Affixes can be used to give the item extra damage, or add a unique ability to the item (such as reviving the dead or reducing the duration of cooldowns), or make the item unique by giving a special name to the item.
Presently, all affixes are able to be modified by selecting them in the upgrade window and pressing the green button with circles arrows. This will cost a certain amount in gold and items. They can also be used as upgrade gauges, similar to other rerolling methods.
Players can choose to upgrade item an item with a specific stat, or reroll affixes. The possible stat ranges for an item are determined by the level of the item, however all items are guaranteed to have at least one stat within the range, unless it is an exclusive item or a God roll from a raid boss.
Another thing that could change is the possibility to upgrade equipment without having to reroll the attaches, or select which stats to enhance. But as with base equipment, this would need to be done on a per-item basis and the interface for comparing items wouldn't show all possible stats that were gained or lost at the same time.
item upgrader mod Luck
The Luck stat of a player increases the likelihood of locating items, the properties that are generated by loot, and the strength of these properties. However, it doesn't directly affect damage or the ability to upgrade items. It simply gives the player a chance to acquire better equipment in earlier waves, and is therefore more useful in the early game than in later ones, because most players value more powerful weapon scaling and defenses over raw damage gains.
Luck can also increase the likelihood of upgrading items at the Blacksmith. This is not to be confused with the Blacksmith's overall upgrade chance that increases with each item level and can be further enhanced by using an anti-material such as a Scroll of Strength or a Jewel of Blessing.
Weapons, shields, and armor can be made or spawn by using the Luck property, which has an initial value of 40. These items can be enhanced by golden ingots, spined leather, or oak boards (depending on the type of material used) to grant an additional +40 Luck or to increase the Luck of the item up to 140.
Additionally, certain items, such as the Hollow weapon that is infused with hollow can be outfitted to increase the damage dealt by any damage-dealing skill by 5percent. These items can be found in the shops or made using the right ingredients.
Item Failure
Not all upgrades work. However, there are cash shop items that allow players to increase their chances of success or even prevent them from losing an item if the upgrade is unsuccessful.
When you upgrade an item, the success rate is displayed in the Honing UI. The percentage represents the probability of successfully upgrading that item, and can be increased by adding Additional Materials or Special Materials. The probability of success can only be increased as much, and the chance that the upgrade will fail cannot exceed 100%..
The Luck of an item may influence the success of an upgrade. All items have an initial success rate of 25%, and each item with Luck increases the chance of success by 5percent.
Note that upgrades to items are rendered above the items in the inventory therefore enchantment glints and other effects may be masked by them. If you wish to disable the upgrade overlays, the config option decoration.renderUpgradeOverlays can be set to False in the Item Upgrader CORE client config.
