Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item level upgrade that can make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade is made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools in order to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, dependent on the item type.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give bonus effects or attributes while the equipment is being utilized. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot. The majority of upgrade components require that the item to be upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special visual effects when they are added to an item. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchased by karma merchants or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.

There are different upgrade components, each with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used on any kind of equipment; they provide smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be utilized on certain back equipment that is ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be used into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their name in the item's hover display, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their names to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item upgrader will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions and swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and examine these special characters, along with common symbols like em and en dashes, as well as trademark symbols registered to be used.

Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the selected item upgrading, as each weapon, piece of jewelry or armor piece can have an array of different Glyphs.

Glyphs can be improved by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the area is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated bonus, and also boost other nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each view shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves creating an account on a different account to increase your chances of acquiring the character or weapon you want. This is done to increase your level faster, or to gain more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players play until the character they want is available, regardless of ability. This could be because they like the character's design or character.

You should ensure that you make clean changes every time you reroll. You should verify locally whether the patch is approved by pre-commit and run a core dev check. You should upload the patch with a clear distinction to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls can take a few days or weeks depending on how fortunate you are. During this time, you should avoid enemy camps that are optional to cut down on time. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This can help you save time and energy.

Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is making sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are several ways to enhance your character's power and appearance. This could include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and purchasing upgrades. Additionally, it is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling is not a necessary part of the game, but it can be useful to increase your chances of obtaining a specific character or weapon. You can use it to determine the best character or to test different styles of play and builds.

Sets

A set is a group of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of a class). Sets can be used to perform operations such as union, intersection and distinction.

Upgrades make a set item better than it was before. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense value and less requirement for strength.

Upgrades are an excellent way to bring popular single-set items to level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can boost the defense from 217 up to 321 and lower the strength and requirements for level to an achievable range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own way and don't require any upgrades. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may be benefited by an upgrade to boost their value. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
