There s A Good And Bad About Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item level upgrade to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the level of an item upgrading by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They are also available to players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single Best item upgrade at a time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
item upgrades - more info - give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade items components can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
