iRobot suggests cleaning up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or clutter it might come across. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clean to prevent them from becoming clogged. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically empties the dirt into the station's external dustbin. It then continues cleaning where it left off. Battery life is about an hour-and-a-half of continuous use. It takes three hours to charge.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the best budget robot vacuum to start, stop or pause its cleaning session and to move around the room and sweep a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. When connected to these services, we were able use the i7+'s voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." It is prone to getting stuck on cords for phones or furniture that is low and is often unable to supply power before returning to its base.
