Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
robot vacuums that mop vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle a variety of floors. Find models that allow you to select from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best models work with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.
Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot cleaner with mop mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when required.
This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished whenever needed. It comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that effortlessly picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mops which lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. 4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris however, it's not able to reach every last bit of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is designed to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.
Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic vacuum and mop water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that helps it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums can't. The K10 Plus also has the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction when needed. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid this is a useful feature.
