Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or rings. The item is replaced with an identical item however with different benefits.
