The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored excellently in our tests on bare floors and are especially adept in removing hair from dogs. However, they do have a few flaws however, which hinder them from being our first option. One of them is that the Q5's navigation system does not feature AI-powered obstacle avoidance technology and is therefore prone to get caught up in shoes and socks and can't navigate rooms with a lot of people efficiently in our tests. It doesn't also come with a camera to look around corners.

It's still a good value particularly if your home or office has lots of unfinished flooring and you're looking to save money. It's also very quiet and you can use it when you're at work or school. It lacks the edge-to-edge bare floor vacuuming feature that's available in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. The latest flagship model from iRobot is also among its most advanced. It has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company's robot that can wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).

It can be used to create cleaning schedules or set up a spot-clean. You can also use it to prioritize the most soiled areas for greater efficiency. The app has a range of features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom mapping and advanced cleaning settings.

It is also able to reach corners and under furniture more easily because its shape is more rectangular. It features an impressive 8,000 Pascal suction as well as sophisticated combs that remove pet hair. You can also create a spot-cleaner that thoroughly cleans the area.
