The Best Twin Buggy
Created to grow with your family, this inline double has various seating options and can be used for twins or children of various age groups. The foam-filled rubber tires will never go flat and its soft suspension can easily handle kerbs.
It folds super-flat and meets airline gate-check weight requirements making it easy to carry. It also includes an enormous under-seat storage basket and an all-weather sun canopy with four panels.
Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is an excellent choice for travelers. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm which slightly exceeds the IATA standard of 45cm. However, it still complies with the regulations of hand luggage for airlines and can be stored in the overhead lockers on flights (Subject to Airline Approval). It was easy to clean using a wipe and there were many extras like footmuffs and nappy and buggie organiser bags that clip on to the handles, and hoods with UV50+ protection.
It's easy to move up and down stairs, and it can fit into tight spaces like narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace house. The bumper bar also doubles as a handle. There's also a large brake that's flip-flop friendly and has a color indicator. The basket is smaller than some other models however it's large enough to accommodate an adequate-sized changing bag, and there are also additional traytrays for snacks, drinks and toys.
It's suitable from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). The clever backrest can be folded down to make it ideal for long walks or naps. The 5-point harness with magnets makes it simple to use. It's also lightweight, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing joy with parents who are expecting" and has created pushchairs that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's latest product. It's designed to accommodate two children at once in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also has stadium-style seating that allows both children to see the world at once.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is one of most lightweight strollers for kids available. It is suitable from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy to drive or ride, lift, and fold and the clever frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.
Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is the highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were impressed with how quickly and easily it comes together. However, they did notice that it's a bit more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
They also point out that the front seat doesn't fully recline and they had to use their hands to get it to a comfortable position which they would prefer not to have to do when travelling with small children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a great stroller that can be improved with a few tweaks. They appreciate that it's compact and compact when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they need. It's compatible with a wide range of car seats. It also has a a one-click system to fold, making it easy for families on the go. It also comes with a variety of extras that rival brands are charging separately for like rain covers and liners.
iCandy Peach is a favorite among parents who are fashion conscious, thanks to its stylish and contemporary jersey fabrics. The new 2022 Peach has been updated with a few minor tweaks to improve performance and functionality, without compromising aesthetics.
One of the biggest changes to the current Peach is the addition of a ride-onboard that makes it a great choice for twins. It's also smaller than the older Peach model, but it still offers all the space your children might require.
This is a great double stroller for those who want something sleek and versatile. You can use it as a single pram from birth and then buy an additional kit to transform it into a twin stroller. It also has a huge basket and 5 reclining positions to provide maximum comfort for your children. It also comes with a carry strap as well as a one-handed folding mechanism. The only issue is that it can be quite heavy to carry around when you aren't using it particularly since it folds into two parts rather than one.
iCandy Orange
This is among the most comfortable twin buggies on the market. The seats are well-padded and come with luxurious footmuffs or liners that will keep your little ones cosy in cold weather. The carrycot slots onto the Orange chassis easily thanks to gates that open and is comfortable and spacious. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are specially designed to tackle pavements and rough ground, and there's a large shopping basket beneath that is ideal for big supermarket shops. The pushchair is smooth to drive with a lightweight feel, and the rounded pedal brake is simple to use (but not flip-flop friendly). The latch that keeps it folded requires two hands to unlock. When it's collapsed the front wheels fold into the basket and the chassis can stand.
The Orange is a great option for parents who are style-conscious and have a toddler, baby or both. They're looking for a buggy which will grow with their child. It's an excellent option for parents who anticipate an additional child in the near future and would like an extra pushchair that is flexible. The iCandy Orange may not be inexpensive however its versatility will make it last a long time and boost its resale value. It can also be used with a buggy board, which will help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!
Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand of prams to focus on all-terrain double travel stroller pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is slim and sleek and is able to slide through doors and easily maneuver around tight shopping aisles. It is one the most compact and fully-featured double buggies on the market and has won numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The narrow seats are large enough for children of varying age groups to be able to sit and stand double stroller comfortably, and the seats are independently reclineable, so children can pick their preferred position. The large canopies feature flip-out sun visors and the storage basket is spacious with plenty of space. It can accommodate two infant car seats with the purchase of adapters for car seats and is compatible with almost all brands which is a major advantage.
The only drawback is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk, and may be difficult for Grandma to manage. It is priced higher than other Stokke Double Stroller buggies. It is built to last and has a lot of features for its price. It's a good option for parents in urban areas who don't want to lug around a bulky stroller. And, the straps that are padded and buckles with five points ensure that it is safe for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish and practical design. It's a great product, but it's not without flaws.
It provides very few additional features, both for kids and parents. There's a tiny side bin in the seat, but it's only accessible when the seat is connected and that's the only thing it offers. There are no cup holders, parent tray or accessory pockets. This could be a problem on long journeys.
The seats aren't able to recline to a flat position and the gap between them is quite large which is why our 5 year old had trouble lying back with ease. It's a shame given that this is a high-end vehicle.
On the bright side, it's a easy to maneuver and the swivel wheel is great at getting up slopes and steps. It's also small enough to pass through most doors and folds easily for stress-free storage and transport. It can be switched to mono mode in only three clicks, should you require more space or a quick getaway. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate a third kid if required. If you're budget-conscious, there are cheaper options. It's worth it in the event that you're a huge fan of the brand and have the money to spend.
